How RepresentEd tracked and drove student engagement
Problem
RepresentEd Leadership runs an internship program for historically underrepresented youth in partnership with a leading healthcare system. They were looking for a more intuitive, purpose-built system to manage student tasks throughout their summer program.
Before Campground
Their systems before Campground were inadequate AND expensive.
They started with the "free" version of Salesforce for nonprofits, but to make any changes or troubleshoot, they had to pay a consultant. "It was expensive with terrible support. Took weeks to get a response."
Then they tried using Monday.com, but even after a $20K custom implementation project, the login capabilities for students weren't ideal. They couldn't push task updates to all students and had to make manual updates to hundreds of tasks! And the system lacked custom branding.
Solution
Campground became a one-stop-shop for RepresentEd's Alumni as well as a place for current active students to submit tasks.
RepEd Program Managers were able to create ONE template for weekly tasks & deliverables. They could then assign that template to students. Edits to tasks were pushed out instantaneously to all students. Submissions could be viewed by all facilitators (there was no extra charge for extra admins of the system).
Results
101 students completed > 700 tasks
70% of students completed tasks
Saved hours of program manager time (especially when it came to pushing out last-minute changes
